The first thing I did was figure that the Aluminum tank was going to be filled with 160 degree oil. 
This is not good if I want to keep any frozen foods in my trunk on the ride home from the market. 
Insulation became the solution.

I decided to go with some foamy stuff on the inside, and cover it with space age looking aluminum
bubble wrap.  All from Home Depot.

Note the extra piece of fuel line to vent the tank

Although I did not read about insulating the tank, it seemed like a great idea.  Now that I have 
been using the system in the New England winter, it was a Excellent idea!  

Wrapping it up!

Here it is almost finished.  So warm.  So snuggly!

This is out of time placement, but it is the trunk heat exchanger being fitted

I used lousy, but clear hose for the testing process.  I wanted to see air bubbles.  This worked 
great, as I could see when I had air in the system.  The problem is, I think the clear hose was 
CAUSING the air bubbles.  Go figure.
